Well, it’s been five days since Elder Boehrer flew to California. He has gotten a lot accomplished, so the trip was well worth it. He learned some things at the Union meeting, but today he went directly to the union and got a lot of questions answered. By the time he left the union office (he was there from 10:00 until 1:30) the line to speak to a representative was out around the corner. I guess he wasn’t the only one with questions. So, that is settled, thank goodness. We now know what choices to make for our health care.
We also found out what is causing the leak in the front corner of our yard. Thanks to Brother Cobabe, he discovered what’s wrong and he was able to fix it. Hopefully it will work this time. If not, then he will go to the next step. What would we do without his helpfulness…
Bishop and Sister Haddock came by Bryan’s home tonight and he and Elder Boehrer had a great visit. Bishop also brought our tithing, fast offering and missionary donations. We will need that for our taxes. (Our son Mike will do our taxes for us this week.) So far, no one in the ward has put in their papers for a mission. I truly hope someone will choose to go. It is the most fulfilling decision you will ever make. Again, it is not always easy, but always worth it.
