Our fourth Zone Conference - Annapolis. We enjoy these conferences, but it sure puts us behind at the Mission Office. With all of the missionaries that are coming into the mission, our work load is truly ramping up.
Someone mentioned that we should maybe get another couple or two to help us out, but the Jones’ and us work so well as a team that we thing we can accomplish all that is needed.
We and the other senior couples, minus Elder Jones and Elder Boehrer, are planning a trip to New York in May for three days! Pretty exciting. We plan on seeing a Broadway show, touring the Metropolitan Museum of Art, seeing 5th Avenue, eating a hot dog at one of those hot dog stands you see on TV all the time, and seeing a bunch of other stuff. We’re just in the planning stages. . .
Elder Boehrer is having a hard time finding housing for all of the four senior couples coming into the mission. It just takes faith and perseverance to put it all together - that, and plenty of help from people who live in the various areas that the President wants the Senior Couples in.
