Our Nevada Families

We left Bakersfield at 9:15 this morning; arrived in Henderson at 2:00.  We took our time.  I love driving on Highway 58 up through the Tehachapi's.  The windmills and the scenery are beautiful. I don’t mind the winding climb to the top of the hills.  The drive through Barstow and Baker does get boring.  Anyway, we are staying at David and Rachel’s homeP1000031 with our three grandchildren, Jacob, Josh and Jarom.   In the evening we watched David and Danny play softball.  P1000032  Ahh, David looks a little goofy.  Wonder who he gets that from. . . But, David can sure play ball.  He hit two home runs, bringing in four players.  Great job!!!   The game was going great until Danny got hit just above his ankle bone with a renegade ball.P1000033 So,  he finished up the game on a bench.  He and Tomica went to the hospital and their three children (our grandchildren), Tyler, Bryce and Marianne, are spending the night at David’s home.  So, there are six grandchildren and Roy, myself, David, Rachel and JD, the beloved family dog.  Fun times.  We will find out in the morning how Dan is doing.  Hopefully, it is not broken.Fingers crossed
