Today while working in the Mission Office, Elders Cragun and Elder Wilding came by to get some supplies. We always enjoy it when the missionaries come to our office. They light up the place. They are always so happy to see the Senior Missionaries. I think it makes them think of home – like we are their surrogate parents and we all love it! Just before the missionaries arrived this very thin, fit man came into the office with some fantastic peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Turned out he is the Regional Manager for Pep Boys, which the company the Church contracts with for all of the vehicle’s repairs. He is a marathon runner – 28 miles at a time. Seeing how fit he is was a real motivator – for about three minutes. 
The weather is going more towards Summer. I had to take a picture of the area in front of our office. It is like a park setting. 
I want to leave you with a message from President Belliston. He spoke of paying our tithing and fast offerings. NOTE: Tithing is 10% of our monetary gain. Fast Offerings: The Church asks that you pay the cost of what two meals per person would cost. Whatever you contribute goes to helping those in need. If you wish to pay more, it goes even further in helping those in need. The blessings you receive by paying your tithing and fast offerings are abundant. In the Old Testament in Isaiah Chapter 58 it explains these blessings. My favorite versus’ in this chapter are 10 and 11. “And if thou draw out they soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.” I can testify that those versus are true. We have always paid our tithing and fast offerings, even when our children were small and it sometimes seemed like there would not be enough money left at the end of the month, we always had food on the table, clothing for our family and the necessities. President Belliston said that the “Lord delights in giving us blessings, and when we don’t pay our tithing, then we are denying Him that pleasure.” Even Donald Trump pays 10% of his earnings. . .something to think about.
Just want our children to see Dad’s new work space. He now has his own desk and is working hard – no more retirement!
