This is one of the reasons it is so hard to lose weight around here . . .
Today was our P-Day. The day we are supposed to get our washing done, clean our apartment, shop, relax and do whatever we feel we need to do. Well, we went into the mission office at 9:00 and worked on arrivals and departures. Then Elder Boehrer and I left the office at 1:00 and went to Luray, Virginia. Went started in Maryland, went through West Virginia and ended up in Virginia. A round trip of about 320 miles. Yep, a long day, but so rewarding. We were able to visit with Elders Larsen and Johns. We brought stuff to them for their apartment and visited for a few minutes.
Then onto the Carlson’s little home in Front Royal.

They will be going home on the 23rd of February – well, actually, they will be helping us in the office for a while until Elder Carlson’s last dentist appointment on the 1st of March. We can sure use their help. After our visit with the Carlsons, we headed back to the apartment. The country we traveled through was so beautiful and the small towns we drove through were storybook. Wouldn’t have passed up opportunities like this for anything.
