Among the many things we do here in the Maryland Baltimore Mission Office, besides keep up with all of the missionaries, is the vehicles and keeping the Transfer Board up to date.  NOTE:  The Transfer Board has to be kept up because it shows ALL of the missionaries by Zone, District and Area.  It also shows the missionaries’ positions, i.e., District Leader, Zone Leader, Trainer,etc.  Elder Boehrer makes sure that each missionary companionship has an apartment to live in that is full furnished (that is also noted on the board).  Elder Jones makes sure that each companion ship has a vehicle and each missionary has a bike.  He also makes sure that President knows who can drive and who can’t (noted on the board).  This board – see picture below – is kept up by the mission secretary (ME).  Because it is so important we all make sure that it is correct.  The Assistants to the President and I felt that I should be a picture of the board on our blog.  They appreciate my work   Gotta love those two.

In the past two weeks the mission has gotten eighteen new vehicles.  They are delivered to an auto dealer, then we need to picture them up, get bike hitches on them, tiwis (explained in a prior bog) and all of their paperwork in order.  Whew!  Elder Jones recruits the drivers (missionaries, of course) and gets it all organized.  Sister Jones makes sure they have money on their cards for gas and repairs.  It is a team effort.

Also on Friday, I stayed at the Richards’ home so Josie, their daughter would not be alone.  We decided to have a Senior Couple Get together.  Spaghetti dinner; salads; fruit; dessert (of course).
