Elders Shaw, Herzog and Chafin
In the past couple of weeks we have received eight bikes. They come in boxes and need to be put together. The parents of the missionaries send them to us so that their son or daughter will have transportation when they don’t have access to a mission vehicle. Anyway, eight bikes is a lot for Elder Jones (the vehicle coordinator) to put together, therefore, he and Elder Boehrer loaded all of the bikes in the trailer, took them over to the Columbia Stake Center, put them in the Cultural Hall, and after the Columbia one Missionaries got out of their Zone Meeting, Elder Jones had pizza and soda ready for them. Then when they were finished, they went in the Cultural Hall put the bikes together. Gosh, those young missionaries sure work fast. It would take us a week for each bike! The missionaries had a fun time. They always enjoy working together. Even the sisters got into the act.
Enjoying a great pizza lunch!
