Shari’s Berries

Yum!  (Oh Yeah, notice some are ‘missing’ already)

Well, I got a nice surprise today for Mother’s Day – a box of Shari’s Berries from our son Bryan and his family.  The berries were HUGE (notice I say were, yep, they’re gone almost . . .)  Love my family so much.  I called Bryan to thank him and our granddaughter, Cali, answered the phone.  Just hearing her say “Hi, Grandma” was more exciting to me than even the berries – and that’s a lot of excitement!!!

Wow, what a day, between chocolate chip cookies (left over from a luncheon), Shari’s Berries, banana cream pie and strawberry pie (both made by Elder Maxwell), I am on such a sugar high.  Hope I can come down so I can sleep tonight.  Yes, yes, I know, I don’t have to eat everything, but you know. . .

The sisters helped us eat the berries.  EVERYONE loved them. 

Anyway, just got a call from President Richards letting me know that there are TWO couples who are being interviewed to take our place in the office.  I am so happy that prayers are answered.   I was truly getting concerned.  I don’t want the mission to have to suffer because we cannot stay any longer.  Whew!  It is a true testimony of faith – no one in sight and all of a sudden there are two couples.
