Oh my gosh we still have four more apartments to get by the this transfer which is June 5th!!! We enjoy driving through the beautiful countryside, but finding a decent apartment in West Virginia can be tricky. The state of Virginia is one of the most beautiful states that I have ever seen, but it can have some backwards ideas, such as they don’t want to sign any papers, they “just want money” for the apartment. Good people, just different ideas. Elder Boehrer is well liked by most of the landlords he works with, but he can only do what the Church parameters allow.
Today Sister Jones and I did apartment checks at five apartments. NOTE: The Sr Missionaries each have an area of the mission that they check apartments in each month. It is needed because it helps the missionaries to keep their apartments clean and for some, it helps them to learn how to clean. Gotta love em’.
Tomorrow Elder Boehrer and I are going to Frederick, Maryland to give an apartment in Mt. Airy, the paperwork. Time is winding down for us. We leave in three and a half weeks and we are not prepared yet, and Elder Boehrer still has two more apartments to get. I KNOW that we will get all that is needed. The Lord helps those who help themselves
