Sure do love my family, between Shari’s Berries, M&Ms, cards and Skyping, it has been a wonderful day. We both love and miss our family. Our daughter-in-laws are the best Moms. We are so fortunate. They take such good care of our grandchildren. Love them lots!
[Elder Boehrer] Well this is the second year we haven’t seen any of the kids on Mother’s Day. But we were able to talk with some of them and Skype a little too.
The missionary work is as busy as can be. I’ve been able to line up 7 of the 13 new apartments for the new incoming transfers on June 4th.
I am looking forward to going home in June, but it is hard to explain how my feelings are running when we leave all the blessings of working with all of these terrific Elders and Sisters. I remember when we went to our first transfer meeting an all those that were leaving for home that next day had many mixed emotion s about leaving this behind. I now can understand those thoughts and feelings.
I love the gospel and have been so blessed with a healthy family that loves us. [Elder Boehrer]
We have a strong and sure testimony of the Gospel and of missionary work. We have seen first hand how the gospel has affected people’s lives and we hope that through our service we have been a part of that. We have also seen how our service has affected our family. Their testimony has grown also and they have all become closer. That is more than we could have hoped for.
