Tornado Warning

Well, we had our first tornado warning in Maryland today.  It was so windy and rainy that we had to wait it out in the office.  We finally left about 5:00 and just before we got home it starting raining, lightning and the wind blowing again.  It was beautiful to watch, believe it or not, but it was not fun to be out in it.  When the lightning hits and then the thunder roars, it is impressive.  We had to call the missionaries and tell them to stay in their apartments or find shelter, especially if they were out in the open.  Yikes, what a day!

I wanted to include in the blog some video I took of the storm, but I can’t figure out how to do it.  Hopefully, our daughter Jennifer can tell us how to load it in the blog.  Unbelievable.

    Dan and David and their families sent me an Incredible Eatable fruit basket with a balloon for my birthday, which is not until Sunday.  Ahh, yes, our children make life happy and fulfilled.  I love them all so much.   I neglected to say that I got a wonderful birthday card from the Lunch Bunch gals in our Ward.  I miss them all and it is so nice to know that they are all doing well.
