Here in Maryland we have Fireflies. I am telling you, it is magical to sit and watch these tiny lights blink in and out of the darkness. I feel like I am in fairytale land – seriously!
They are only around for a short time, so we enjoy them while we can.
Since President Belliston is leaving in about 10 days, we had a final interview with him. He is such a spiritual, kind man and so in tune with how people are feeling. He loves the missionaries and their welfare is his first concern. We feel it a privilege to have served under him. He will be replaced by President and Sister Richards. They will be arriving Friday, the 29th. Anytime there is change it can either be difficult or something that happens and life goes on. Elder Boehrer and I are excited about this change. We love President Belliston and therefore, we are excited for him and his wife that they will be able to move onto the next ‘adventure’ in their lives. They have six children, five who are living, and many grandchildren that they can now, for a season, spend time with. We are sure that they will be called to even greater callings and will serve the Lord for the rest of their lives.
