Our New Arrivals
Wow what a week. We had what we call transfers this week. Transfers are when the new incoming missionaries arrive and those going home get ready to leave. Normally if you have eight missionaries going home you have eight new ones coming in to take their places. Well this transfer was a little different; we had seven go home and twenty-six come in.
President Richards had to come up with seven new areas for me to find suitable living for these new areas.
A person does not realize what a ripple effect can cause. Need more housing, more furniture, kitchen set-ups, teaching supplies, bookkeeping, missionary records and the list goes on.
We are all so grateful for the challenge - it could have gone the other way but did not.
It is wonderful working with all these young missionaries and to hear them all thanking us for what we are doing - when they are doing all the work. [Elder Boehrer]
