Ta Da !
Today Sister Jones and I spent the morning at Sister Richard’s home making scripture covers for our scriptures. Many of the missionaries make them and we thought they were really fun to make and a nice protection for our scriptures. I have had my scriptures since about 1987. They are all marked and the pages are worn and they have so many memories in their pages. I wrote notes and thoughts in them and each one reminds me of raising our children and how the scriptures helped with that. Even though I am going to get an iPad and won’t be bringing my scriptures with me to church, etc., I don’t ever want to lose these nor take the chance of making them even more worn. Therefore, the cover. It was a fun day. I am thinking Jennifer, my daughter, may want a cover. It would be fun to make a scripture cover together. She is quite a crafty person and has a lot of good ideas.
