A new home for the Elders
Today Sister Jones, Sister Andersen, Sister Crossley and I went to Damascas, Maryland to look for an apartment for the Elders that President Richards wants in that area. The sisters went with us because they know the area and already found something they thought would work. It is such a beautiful area. You just don’t see stuff like that in my beautiful California. The homes sit on rolling hills with each home looking different and having their own style. It is like in books.
The sisters took us to a home for the Elders in a member’s basement apartment. This member has a nice home with plenty of property and he built in the basement a fully finished apartment that includes a kitchen with plenty of cupboards, a refrigerator, stove, microwave, separate washroom, living room, bathroom and a nice size bedroom. The church can get all of this for $800.00 a month, which includes utilities. The Lord provides
We went to the best burrito place I have been to in a long time! We had burritos and chips and Pico diguyo (don’t how to spell it). Awesome!
