Tonight us, and the Nickersons, Mortensons, and Jones went to the DC Temple to see the Christmas decorations.  First we ate at Ruby Tuesday Restaurant.  It was good, of course, and the company was great!

It was unbelievable.  The pictures I took don’t even do it justice.  Every tree was decorated with multiple colored lights.  Inside there was a beautiful display of nativity scenes.  Then we went back outside and saw a life size nativity scene.  In years past the scene was done with real people who stood for hours and tried not move.  Guess it was too hard to get people to do that…hummm, wonder why??  Anyways, it awe inspiring.  In my naivety, I can’t understand why when people come to the temple to visit they don’t ALL have a burning desire to learn more about the church. Laughing out loud
