Logan Davis’ Mission Call

                 

Yesterday Logan got his mission call to the West Virginia Charlestown mission.  His parents are Dawn and Lance Davis.  We have known both of them for years and are friends with our boys.  We are so excited for two reasons.  One, what a great decision Logan has made to serve and two, his mission is next to ours.  Of course, there is many miles between us, but, hopefully when we leave we can visit him.  His mission president, President Pitt’s son is serving in our mission.  The church makes the world so small.  It is always interesting and exciting to see how we can all connect in some way.  Elder Boehrer and I are very happy for Logan! 

Tomorrow we find out about Clorisa Hansen’s call. Gosh, we can remember when she was just a little girl.  The Hansen family has been in our ward for years.  They are now like family.  I can sure remember the excitement Elder Boehrer and I felt before opening our mission.  Unforgettable.
