“Get Better Elder Boehrer!!!”
Yay! Elder Boehrer is home from the hospital and he is back and healthy, well, except for his hip. I so appreciate all of the offers of of help and dinners. And it was especially nice to hear the missionaries ask how Elder Boehrer is doing. We do love our missionary family. When you are serving the Lord and doing His work you can become so busy and yet you always have friends around you to help lift you up, laugh with and feel good about what you are doing.
Tomorrow is Sunday and it will be nice to be in church. That is a place where it doesn’t matter if you know the members or not, you are always welcome.
It is HOTTER than heck outside and even tho’ you can feel the humidity, the heat reminds me of California. I do love the heat and summertime. Our children in California are swimming and playing with their children in the water. I do miss that.
We are where we belong at this time and are trying very hard not to get ‘trunky’. NOTE: Trunky is a term for the feelings you have when you know that you will be going home soon. Your mind and heart turn to home. We try to avoid the trunky feelings because we want to finish our mission completely and not half way. The blessings we have received because of our service are more than we could have hoped for. So grateful.
