An old farm in Winchester Maryland. Beautiful
This morning we went to the Clasen’s for a brunch. About five couples came to see the Clasen’s new rental. It is a home that one of the members was trying to sell. Until it sells, they asked the Clasens if they would like to rent it. They, of course, said yes! You have to understand that when you come out on a mission one of the things you give up is the comfort of your home–literally. Therefore, you hope you get a comfortable place to live in for the next twelve to twenty-three months. Don’t get me wrong, we love our apartment, but to be able to live in a home with plenty of room is AWESOME! Thus the reason we were all invited over to see the abode of the Clasens. It is a very nice home and comfortable. We are very happy for them.

In the afternoon Elder Boehrer and I went to Winchester to look at an apartment for some Elders. What a beautiful countryside. In the East the homes have such character. Probably because they are well established and the cities and towns have been around for so many years. We ate an a fabulous restaurant called Spangos and watched the Ravens game – haven’t done that in a long time. Oh my gosh! I have never tasted such great cream of crab soup and homemade rolls. Geez, just what I need, to find another place of great food. Uggggghhhhh. Anyway, of course a bunch of us are going to come back to see the countryside and eat at Spangos.
A quaint barber shop and store front. Like going back in time.
This is where we ate our dinner – a bar - hummmmmmm
