Today is Sunday and church was great. We are finally feeling like we are kinda getting involved with our ward. They are hard to get to know. Sometimes that happens and you just have to go to church because you know that in church, this day, is where you belong. Ahh, yes, the church is true, the members are learning. Our ward is preparing for or “Day of Service” next Saturday, the 29th. Our ward will be donating money to a couple of charities that the ward has decided upon and we will be working together on service projects for the community all day. This is not a missionary project, it is the church helping the community. Can’t wait!
Well, our group of die hard Emmy Show women are getting together tonight to have Food, Fun and Friends to watch the Emmys. We have been watching the Emmys together for a few years, definitely not as long as we have been watching the Oscars. I think we have done our Oscar party for about 17 years – friends, correct me if I’m wrong. We love it! Since I am out here serving a mission I will be watching it with Elder Boehrer – humm, not his most favorite thing to do, but he can read, etc.
