Elder Boehrer the Hero

ehaToday Elder Boehrer and I went grocery shopping.  As we were walking out of the store with our cart we noticed a yellow car coming towards our cart.  Then we noticed that no one was driving it, except a dog!  We could see that it was headed for a parked white car.  Elder Boehrer ran to catch the yellow car, but was unable to stop it from crashing into the parked white car.  Yikes!

Then our cart crashed into another parked car because we were unable to stop it from running away.  There was a loud mouthed man standing in front of the grocery store who started yelling at us to quite driving away because he was going to take our picture and call the police because our cart hit a blue car.  Elder Boehrer asked the guy whose white parked car was hit, if he would let the owner of the car know that it was an accident that our cart hit his car and there was no damage, but the loud mouth dude was carrying on and on, so we left a note.  Oh yeah, and the guy whose car was parked that Elder Boehrer tried to save, said he didn’t see anything.  Wow!  No help at all.  We definitely felt that we were in the minority (probably the only white people there, except for the poor lady whose car was running away).  A scary feeling . . .
